Ricky Whittle denies dangerous driving charge

Hollyoaks star to face trial in August

Ricky Whittle plays Calvin Valentine in Hollyoaks

Ricky Whittle pleaded not guilty to one count of dangerous driving at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday.

The Hollyoaks star, 30, is alleged to have struck a photographer with his car while leaving a party in the city in November.

Ricky has been bailed until 9 August, when he will go on trial.

He was the runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
