American Pie star Tara Reid calls off wedding

Actress won't be getting hitched in May

Tara Reid and Michael Axtmann began dating last year

Tara Reid has cancelled her wedding to fiancé Michael Axtmann.

The American Pie star was due to marry the internet entrepreneur next month.

'Tara Reid has confirmed that she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials,' reads a statement to People. 

No further details have been released.

Michael proposed to Tara, 34, while having dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant in January.

The former Playboy model was previously engaged to TV host Carson Daly.
