Dane Bowers arrested on suspicion of assault

Celebrity Big Brother runner-up released on bail

Dane Bowers dated Katie Price

Dane Bowers and an unnamed friend were arrested on suspicion of assault on Sunday.

The pair were allegedly involved in a brawl with two other men in Southend, Essex.

Dane and his pal, 33, were later released on bail.

A spokesman for the Celebrity Big Brother runner-up strongly denies the accusations. 

Essex Police confirm they arrested two men, aged 30 and 33, in the Chichester Road area.

They have both been released on bail until 17 May.
