PICS Did Billie Piper date Doctor Who's Matt Smith?

Billie Piper is wed to actor Laurence Fox

Billie Piper may have had a romance with Doctor Who star Matt Smith, it has emerged.

New photos have been published of the pair attending a fete in Surrey in 2006.

In the snaps, Billie, 27, and Matt are seen holding hands and sharing jokes. 

The pair had just been reunited on the set of her ITV2 show Secret Diary Of A Call Girl when Matt had a minor role.

They had previously worked together on BBC drama The Ruby In The Smoke.

Billie is now married to actor Laurence Fox, 31, and they have a one-year-old son Winston. 

Matt, 27, split from Brazilian singer Mayana Moura earlier this year. 

He has since been linked to Daisy Lowe, 21.

They were snapped holding hands at the Coachella music festival in California at the weekend.
