Amanda Holden wants a fancy title

Amanda Holden hopes her role on Britain's Got Talent will help her get the royal seal of approval.

The actress chooses an act to perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

And she'd like her efforts to lead to a fancy title someday.

'I take finding a suitable person for such a prestigious event very seriously,' says Amanda, 39.

'One day I would like to have a damehood and I don't want anything to get in the way!

'Dame Amanda Holden has a nice ring to it.'
