Gerard Butler ‘holds hands' with French TV host

Actor seen having dinner with Laurie Cholewa

Gerard Butler has been promoting his film The Bounty Hunter in Paris

Gerard Butler has sparked speculation he is romancing a French TV presenter.

The actor is said to have had a date with Laurie Cholewa, 29, in Paris last week.

They apparently held hands as they strolled through the city before enjoying dinner on the Left Bank.

Gerard has been linked to Jennifer Aniston, 41, his co-star in The Bounty Hunter.

‘It's been two years now of people saying, "Are you guys a couple?"' he says.

‘And I don't think it would make any sense to keep denying it for two years.

'If I was going out with Jennifer, I'd be more than happy to say I'm going out with Jennifer.'

Last week, Gerard, 40, appeared to touch the Friends star's bum while promoting their film in Paris.

‘Yeah, I'm a bit of a bad boy,' he tells US radio station KISS-FM.

‘I'm still not sure my hand was really on her butt. I think that's just the way the camera was angled.'
