Angelina Jolie tipped to star in Sleeping Beauty remake

Actress expected to play evil fairy godmother

Angelina Jolie has 6 children with partner Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is being lined-up to star in a live action remake of classic 1959 Disney cartoon Sleeping Beauty.

The actress is expected to play Maleficent, the evil fairy godmother.

The new film will be told from the villain's perspective.

Tim Burton is in talks to direct the film, reports E! Online.

Angelina, 34, is currently shooting The Tourist with Johnny Depp, 46, in Venice, Italy.
