Footballer debuts new design in LA

David Beckham's arms are covered in tattoos

David Beckham has a new tattoo on his left arm.

The footballer has been inked with the word 'grandad' in tribute to his late grandfather Joseph West. 

David, 34, debuted the body art yesterday while taking his dad Ted and sons Romeo and Cruz to Brazilian steakhouse Fogo De Chao in LA.

Joseph, the father of Becks' mum Sandra, died from cancer in December, aged 83.

David's wife Victoria, 35, is currently in Moscow, Russia, promoting her latest clothing collection.
