Police investigate offensive Cheryl Cole voicemail

Sicko said to have left message on Dermot O'Leary's phone

Cheryl Cole's management are helping police

Dermot O'Leary reportedly called cops after receiving an offensive voicemail about Cheryl Cole.

The message was intended for The X Factor judge but is thought to have reached Dermot's phone by mistake. 

Officers have now launched a probe.

'We are investigating claims of an offensive message being left on a mobile telephone,' says a City of London Police spokesman.

'It follows a complaint from a member of the public.'

Cheryl's spokesman has confirmed to The Sun that she has been alerted to the message, but says it has not been played to her.

Her management are helping police with their inquiries.
