Hugh Grant was reportedly covered in chocolate cake at a fancy do on Wednesday night.
The actor is said to have had words with PR guru Matthew Freud, 46, at socialite Heather Kerzner's 41st birthday party at Annabel's club in London.
Huge, 49, managed to change into another shirt and continued to enjoy the bash.
Spokeswomen for Matthew and Annabel declined to comment to the Daily Telegraph.
Did You Hear About The Morgans? star Hugh's spokeswoman was unavailable for comment.
