Peter Andre starts laser treatment on Katie tattoo

Singer had his first session in early March

Peter Andre's tattoo should be completely removed by May

Peter Andre is having the tattoo of ex-wife Katie Price's name removed from his wedding finger.

The singer, 37, had the first of three laser sessions at a clinic in Brighton on 4 March.

Pete, who is spending £240 on the course of treatment, was snapped with a plaster on the finger.

‘He didn't really want it known, so he didn't make a song and dance about it,' a source tells The Sun.

‘He wants to move on finally - and removing the tattoo is his way of doing it.'

Peter was inked in 2007 and Katie, 31, also had his named etched on her wrist.

The glamour model, aka Jordan, covered up her tattoo with a black cross just weeks after they split.

Peter wanted to wait before removing his to avoid upsetting their kids.

Meanwhile, Katie called new husband Alex Reid, 34, by the wrong name on This Morning yesterday.

She referred to the Celebrity Big Brother winner as ‘Me and Pete' before quickly correcting herself.
