Natalie Cassidy announces she's pregnant

Ex-EastEnder is craving chicken sandwiches

Natalie Cassidy is expecting her first child with boyfriend Adam Cottrell.

The former EastEnders actress, 26, fell pregnant over Christmas. 

'I've always wanted to become a mother,' says Natalie. 

'I could have been a mum before now, but I never found the right person.

'And I never felt I wanted to have a child with anyone - until I met this man.'

Natalie and Adam, 30, started trying for a baby late last year.

'I've got polycystic ovaries and I was worried I wouldn't be able to conceive,' she tells OK! 

'I came off my contraception in November but I never thought I'd get pregnant that quickly.'

Natalie, who is craving chicken, mayonnaise and sweetcorn sandwiches, may wed before the baby is born.

'I was going to propose [at Christmas],' says Adam. 'And then we got the news! So I'm kicking myself.'
