Was the former teen heartthrob driven to self-destruct after a shock attack?

Corey Haim would self-harm to let out painful feelings

When his dead body was discovered in his modest LA apartment last week, many of those who'd known Corey Haim for years weren't surprised.

Despite being only 38, the Lost Boys actor and child star who once dated Victoria Beckham had had a long-running battle with drugs. 


Four bottles of prescription medication were found in his home and his battle against crack cocaine was 
well documented.

Producer Nathan Folks tells Now exclusively: ‘He was obsessed with Vicodin and other painkillers. When he came to my house, that was all he'd want.'

Corey's friends feared he was tormented with the memories of being raped by an older man when he was just 14 years old.

This childhood ordeal was revealed during a confrontation with his fellow child star Corey Feldman in 2008 while they were starring in a programme called The Two Coreys.
