Couple in talks at Surrey home

Cheryl and Ashley Cole have to decide if they have a future

Ashley Cole flew home from France yesterday and headed to his and Cheryl Cole's Surrey home.

Still on crutches, the footballer - who has a broken ankle - arrived in the UK by private jet, courtesy of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Cheryl, 26, is tucked up in bed recovering from bronchitis.

'Cheryl was in the house when he arrived back,' a source tells The Sun. 'She agreed that he could return and she would be there.

'But she has not taken him back. It was not a reunion. They had a lot to talk about.'

Last week, Cheryl travelled to Denmark to appear on their version of The X Factor but she cancelled her appearance on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

‘Cheryl's mum Joan doesn't want her to go back, but Cheryl's starting to feel pity for Ashley,' a source tells Now.

‘Her supporters want her to ditch him, but they fear he's worming his way back in.'
