Mark Owen has admitted he needs professional help

Take That star Mark Owen is now in rehab.

Last week the 38-year-old admitted cheating on partner Emma Ferguson, who is now his wife, and having a drink problem.

'I can confirm Mark checked into a private clinic on Friday,' says his spokesman.

The singer is remorseful about the pain he's caused his family and friends and wants to get his life back on track.

'I don't think logically when I'm drunk,' Mark told The Sun. 'I can be a nightmare to live with.'

'I know that sounds really stupid but on our wedding day, for me the ring is really important and I want to be true to my word.'
