Cheryl Cole is gutted she's had to cancel her TV appearances

Cheryl Cole has turned to her iPod to keep up her spirits while she recovers from bronchitis.

The X Factor judge has had to postpone her promotional appearances to rest up.

'Unfortunately, I'm stuck in bed under strict doctor's orders,' Cheryl, 26, writes on her website.

'I've had no other choice than to cancel my performances on the Friday Night With Jonathan Ross show and [Fearne Cotton's] Radio 1 Live Lounge this week. Gutted!

'It's a good job I've got my iPod to keep me entertained, l'm loving Ellie Goulding's album right now!

'I'm really sorry for letting you down and I look forward to seeing you all soon.'

The Girls Aloud star separated from her husband Ashley, 29, last month following allegations he cheated.
