Joseph Fiennes began dating Maria Dolores Dieguez in 2006
Joseph Fiennes has become a father for the first time.
The actor's wife Maria Dolores Dieguez gave birth to a baby girl on Monday.
Joseph, 39, plays FBI agent Mark Benfold in hit US show FlashForward.
He married Swiss model Maria, 28,in Tuscany in August 2009.
They announced the pregnancy last autumn.
