Peter Andre: I'm not trying to woo Cheryl Cole

Singer hasn't been sending her roses

Peter Andre remained celibate until his divorce was finalised

Peter Andre has rubbished reports he's trying to hook up with Cheryl Cole.

The X Factor judge split from Chelsea footballer Ashley, 29, last month.

'Apparently, I've been bombarding Cheryl Cole with supportive texts and sending her white roses in an attempt to woo her,' says Pete. 

'It's the first I've heard of it! This story really made me laugh as it's totally made up.'

Peter, 36, thinks Girls Aloud star Cheryl, 26, will take time before starting seeing someone else. 

'I've been told lots of people want us to get together now we're both on the market,' he writes in his new! diary.

'But I'm sure I'm the last thing on her mind at the moment.'
