Christine Bleakley: Frank Lampard is a very intelligent bloke

TV presenter feels she has a lot in common with the footballer

Christine Bleakley is dating Frank Lampard

Christine Bleakley met Frank Lampard at the Pride Of Britain Awards last October and they got on well straight away.

'He is known for being a very intelligent bloke, and obviously I see that as well,' says Christine.

'That contents me very much. You need someone to be able to have a conversation with you and be on the same wavelength, and he is like that.

'He is very, very smart. It's going well but it's still early days.'

The couple, both 31, are keeping their relationship low-key because they don't want to upset Frank's ex Elen Rivas, the mother of his two children.

Christine, who seems an unlikely WAG, loves spending time with the footballer who has 9 GCSEs, including an
A-star in Latin.

Even so, despite tabloid reports, she hasn't yet introduced Frank to her mum and dad.

‘He hasn't met my parents. He was in Belfast, he met my sister Nicola, but he had met her already anyway,' Christine tells You magazine.

'But all the papers said I was taking him back to meet my parents. Nonsense! I have just got so used to reading nonsense...'
