Actor says Hollyoaks co-star is his best friend

Carley Stenson and Ricky Whittle were together for two years

Ricky Whittle has opened up about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Carley Stenson.

The Hollyoaks co-stars were snapped together at Dancing On Ice on Sunday night, sparking speculation of a reunion.

'I will always love her,' Ricky, 28, tells The Sun.

'Carley is the most amazing girl out there and she is my best friend - always has been, always will be.'

Ricky, 28, was also snapped with Carley, 27, at the premiere of Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai show in Manchester last week (below).

The pair split while he was on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
