50 Cent: I want to re-record Mysterious Girl with Peter Andre

Rapper wants to help Aussie singer crack the States

50 Cent has worked with Justin Timberlake and Eminem

50 Cent wants to collaborate with Peter Andre - on a new version of his hit single Mysterious Girl.

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, reckons fans have a lot of love for the track.

'It's like YMCA, one of those songs everybody knows,' says Fiddy.

'Girls like it and it gets them up dancing. It makes people feel happy, even if it is never going to win a Grammy.'

Peter - who divorced Katie Price, 31, aka Jordan, last year - originally released Mysterious Girl in 1996 and, once again, in 2004.

'He seems like a nice guy and maybe, with the right remix, we can get him a No 1 in the US as well as Europe this time,' 50 Cent tells The Sun.

Rapper Bubbler Ranx featured as a guest vocalist on the original.

But 50 Cent wouldn't ask him to return: 'I would give my lyrics to it rather than use that guy he used last time.'
