Mo'Nique: My husband can have sex with other women

Precious star is very secure in relationship with Sidney Hicks

Mo'Nique and Sidney Hicks have known each other for over 25 years

Mo'Nique has revealed she has an open marriage.

The comedian - who is nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Precious - says nothing could affect her strong bond with Sidney Hicks.

‘Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That's not a deal-breaker,' she says on US show Barbara Walters' Oscar Special.

‘That's not something that would make us say, "Pack your things and let's end the marriage."

‘What if it's 20 times? So what? We've been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are.

‘Often [there are] times people get into marriages and they don't know who they're laying next to. I'm very comfortable and secure with my husband.'

Mo'Nique, 42, says she's never slept with someone else.

‘Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney,' she says.

Barbara Walters' Oscar Special airs on Sunday in the States in the lead up to the Academy Awards.
