Alex Reid debuted his new hairdo on talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man

Alex Reid has rubbished suggestions he's been styling himself on Peter Andre.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner, who is married to Katie Price, got a new haircut recently.

And his makeover drew comparisons to the Aussie singer.

‘It was Kate's idea to spike up my hair,' Alex, 34, writes in his Star diary.

'But I can't believe people said she was trying to turn me into Pete.

‘I don't think so. I don't look anything like him - I'm much more muscly for a start!'

Alex wed Katie, 31, aka Jordan, in Las Vegas on 2 February.
