Christina Milian welcomes a daughter

The singer gives birth to a baby girl

Christina Milian and husband The-Dream have had their first child together

It's a girl for Christina Milian and husband The-Dream.

The singer-actress delivered daughter Violet on Feb. 26, a friend confirms to PEOPLE, saying the baby has "a full head of hair."

This is the first child for Milian, 28, and the fourth for the singer-songwriter and record producer, 31, who has three children with his ex-wife, singer Nivea.

The couple - who wed in September - announced the pregnancy in October.
