Star has no time to get to know someone

Singer Lady Gaga has taken a vow of celibacy while she's on tour

Lady Gaga has revealed she's too busy to find a man.

So the singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, has given up sex for the time being.

'I'm single,' she said. 'I haven't got time to spend on the road to get to know anyone.

'Even Lady GaGa can be celibate, you don't have to have sex to be loved.'

The 23-year-old is encouraging her fans to follow her lead.

'If you can't get to know somebody, you shouldn't be having sex with them,' she told journalists at the launch of her new MAC Viva Glam lipsticks to raise money for AIDS charities.

'It's OK at this point, in this day and age, we have grown up and we now know we can't be that free with your love.'
