Tess Daly and Vernon Kay have 2 daughters

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay made their first public appearance together last night since he admitted sending sex texts to 5 girls.

The couple looked close as they presented on stage at The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards in London's Leicester Square.

'It is such a treat to have an afternoon out, especially in such esteemed company,' said Vernon, 35, as he mades a thumbs-up gesture. 

Tess, 40, was all smiles as she arrived for the function with her husband. She looks stunning in a strapless black dress.

Last month, Family Fortunes star Vernon publicly apologised to the Strictly Come Dancing host for sending the saucy messages.

'Both Tess and Vernon are very committed to The Prince's Trust,' a source tells the Daily Mail. 

'They were determined to attend regardless of their personal circumstances.'

The couple are parents to Phoebe, 5, and 10-month-old Amber.
