Oasis star chucks his trophy into crowd

Peter Kay didn't like Liam Gallagher's acceptance speech

Peter Kay branded Liam Gallagher a ‘knobhead' at last night's Brit Awards.

The comedian wasn't impressed when the Oasis star chucked his gong into the crowd.

Liam appeared on stage to collect the Best Album Of The Past 30 Years prize for LP (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

The 37-year-old thanked everyone in his band apart from older brother Noel, 42.

He then swore and lobbed his microphone and award into the front row.

‘What a knobhead,' said a bemused Peter.

Oasis split last year after Liam and Noel fell out.
