Mammal rubbed itself against her leg

Jennifer Garner has two daughters with actor Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner has revealed a male dolphin once got a little over excited after meeting her.

The actress spent a day with the mammal while researching her role in TV show Fantasy Island in 1998.

‘I had my feet dangling in the water and the dolphin came and swam right over my foot and I thought that was so cool,' explains Jennifer, 37.

‘I really wanted to feel it again...so I had my foot as far in as I could go and the dolphin came around again. It felt like we were playing a game.

‘The dolphin started going faster and faster round my foot and really rubbing against my leg. I thought, "This dolphin is really into me."'

But Jennifer, who is married to Ben Affleck, was shocked when she realised what it was up to.

‘I said to the trainer, "Oh, I think the dolphin just peed,"' she tells The Late Show With David Letterman.

‘He said, "No ma'am. The dolphin was just saying Mahalo, which means thank you in Hawaii."

‘I said, "That's so weird, I didn't feel anything." And the trainer said, "That's often the way it is, ma'am."'
