Alex Reid is to star in his own reality TV show on Bravo

Alex Reid insists he cannot take the place of Jordan's ex Peter Andre.

The cage fighter wed the glamour model in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas last week. 

And Pete later broke down when asked on Sky News how he'd feel if Alex adopted his children.

'I've got no problem with Pete and am not trying to replace him in the kids' lives in any way,' Alex writes in his Star magazine column.

'I've got no animosity towards him and I'm not after the kids at all. I'd like to sit down with him and for us to be friends.

'He's a really good dad and I think it was all a bit unfair.'

Alex won the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.
