Angelina Jolie visits Haiti earthquake survivors in hospital

Actress comforts patients getting treatment

Angelina Jolie has six children with partner Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie visited victims of the Haiti earthquake yesterday.

The actress had a guided tour of the Dario Contrera Hospital in the Dominican Republic where survivors are receiving medical treatment.

Angelina, 34, comforted patients with Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a representative of the United Nations' High Commissioner For Refugees.

‘She spoke with several children and a Haitian woman who recognised her and requested help,' hospital spokesman Dario Manon tells Access Hollywood.

Angelina is a goodwill ambassador for the UN's refugee agency.
