VIDEO Cheryl Cole appears in promo for Haiti single

X Factor star sings lines in Everybody Hurts

Cheryl Cole's X Factor act Joe McElderry also appears in the video for Haiti

The official video for Simon Cowell's charity single for Haiti has premiered.

Stars including Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle and Robbie Williams are seen singing in a studio in the promo for the cover of REM's 1993 hit Everybody Hurts.

Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Mika, Michael Buble, JLS and The X Factor winner Joe McElderry also feature.

‘Everybody Hurts should comfortably make No 1 and will hopefully go on to dominate the charts over the course of the next few weeks,' says HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo.

‘We could not only be looking at the biggest single of 2010 but possibly one of the most successful releases of the past ten years.'

Everybody Hurts is available to buy now. 

All proceeds go to the Disasters Emergency Committee and The Sun's Helping Haiti campaign.
