Peter Andre: Jordan marriage has given me closure

Singer says she's not his business anymore

Peter Andre's split from Jordan was announced in May 2009

Peter Andre is happy Jordan has remarried - because he's finally able to get on with his life.

The glamour model, real name Katie Price, wed Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid, 34, in Las Vegas last week.

‘To me it was the best closure I could have asked for,' says Pete, 36. ‘Once she became Mrs Reid it's not my business anymore.

'I stepped away from the circus a long time ago. Whatever is to do with the kids will be my business.'

Peter fought back tears during a TV interview last week following Jordan's announcement.

He insists it was because he was shown a clip of stepson Harvey's real dad slating him.

‘I wasn't upset because of the wedding, absolutely not,' Pete tells the News Of The World.

‘Watching a video of Dwight Yorke having a go at me on TV, which I was totally not prepared for, triggered off an emotion.'
