The whole of Celebsville took a collective gasp when Heidi Montag from MTV reality show The Hills unveiled her surgically enhanced new look after 10 surgical procedures in one day.
But Heidi's inner circle are standing by her decision - friend and co-star Kristin Cavallari is fully supportive.
'I think if she's happy, it's her body, she can do what she wants,' she's just told Now's Style Editor Alison Tay in a call from LA.
But Kristin won't be tempted to follow Heidi's footsteps down the plastic surgery route because she's too scared.
'It freaks me out,' she admits. 'There isn't pressure to get plastic surgery in Hollywood. There is pressure to look a certain way but you can't obsess about it.
'I'm lucky to have my family and good friends around me, and I know what's really important.'
Catch The Hills on weekdays on MTV at 7pm.

kristin cavallari doesn't need to worry. she's beautiful and doesn't need plastic surgery. heidi, on the other hand, is even uglier now than she was before.
When she got her plastic surgery alot of people gave her unnecessary flack. I'm wouldn't recommend women to think plastic surgery is an escape to get rid of insecrurities they have about their bodies. But for the women that feel better about themselves after having it done I would scrutinize them. Heidi and anyone else has the right to be and look how however they choose to. And people that want to be hateful towards her need to get a life or out of hers of if they can't be a little less critical.
