Jay Sean: I want to become an actor
Jay Sean wants to try his hand at acting.
The British singer-songwriter, 28, reckons he's got the talent to succeed in Hollywood.
'My single Down is big in LA,' Jay - born Kamaljeet Singh Jhooti in Hounslow - tells Now.
'I'm quite well known there, so I'd love that to lead to some acting.
'I know the singer-turned-actor thing is a cliché, but I did acting at school. I'd love to do a comedy. I like taking the piss out of myself!'
But Jay - who counts Leonardo DiCaprio as one of his fans - isn't interested in starring in a reality programme.
'I hope not,' he says. 'I've been offered shows like that but, even if this all came to an end, I'd never be that desperate to stay famous.'
