Emotional singer cuts appearance short

Peter Andre was appearing on Sky News to plug his new album

Peter Andre was reduced to tears when grilled about his kids on live TV yesterday.

The singer got emotional when he was asked how he would feel about Jordan's new husband Alex Reid adopting their children Junior, 4, and Princess, 2.

‘No one is going to take my kids away from me - nobody,' said Pete. ‘I'm sorry. Nobody is going to take my kids away from me.

‘And I will fight to the death for that. Nobody's going to take those kids away - I'll die before I let that happen. It's not going to happen. I will go to court.'

Peter, 36, also lost his cool when shown a clip of Dwight Yorke branding him ‘disrespectful' for wanting to adopt his son Harvey, 7.

‘I asked to adopt him because I loved him, I didn't ask to adopt him to be disrespectful' he told Sky News.

‘I thought that was a good thing, I thought that was what was done in this world? Why is it disrespectful that I asked to look after someone's child? I'm sorry, but that angers me.'

Pete - who admitted he had no prior knowledge of Jordan's plans to get married in Las Vegas - cut short the interview and cancelled a string of other scheduled appearances.
