Is Ben Affleck still fighting his demons?

Ben Affleck swore off alcohol after a stint in rehab in 2001, but reports circulating in Hollywood suggest he's back on the booze - and putting a strain on his four-year marriage to Jennifer Garner.

Ben, 37, was allegedly seen drinking vodka at a Sundance Film Festival bash. The actor flew out to Utah for a party for his new film The Company Men just moments after taking part in the Haiti telethon in LA.

A source claims that Ben ‘immediately sat down at a VIP table, grabbed the bottle of Absolut vodka in front of him and poured a drink', to the surprise of his publicists.

Jen, 37, is said to be worried that Ben's going back to his old wild ways, playing poker with pals until the early hours of the morning. Plus both are stressed out trying to juggle work commitments with looking after their two children Violet, four, and one-year-old Seraphina.

The actress attended the Golden Globes alone this year and eyewitnesses say she left the aftershow party early looking distressed following a heated phone call from Ben.

Close friends fear for his marriage but the actor insisted just over a year ago that his battle with the bottle was behind him.

‘Simple as this: I quit drinking. It's not that big a deal. It has no real bearing on anything else in my life,' he insisted. ‘Your lifestyle changes at a certain age. As you grow older, you have more responsibilities and you have to step up to them.'
