Darius Danesh splits from fiancée Natasha Henstridge

Pair have vowed to remain friends

Darius Danesh and Natasha Henstridge are still pals

Darius Danesh and Natasha Henstridge have called off their engagement.

The couple got together in 2006, but Natasha, 35, was based in LA, while Darius lived in the UK.

'They tried to make it work,' a spokesman for Natasha tells The People.

'They really care about one another but their careers took them in different directions.

'They are sad but will remain friends.'

Natasha and Darius, 29, who has changed his surname to Campbell, got engaged in 2007.

He is currently appearing in ITV series Popstar To Operastar.

Canadian-born Natasha starred as a sexy alien in the movie Species.
