Susan Boyle has joked about finding an intruder inside her home.
A man ran out past the Britain's Got Talent star as she entered her house in Blackburn, West Lothian, on Tuesday night.
'I think he got more of a scare than I did because he ran off,' she says.
Susan, 48, has vowed to continue living at the property.
'I'm not going anywhere - nobody's pushing me out of my house,' she tells the Daily Star.
'I'm absolutely fine...The matter is in hand. The police have been really good about it.'
But Susan's brother Gerry is concerned for her safety.
'It's very well for her to say she wants to stay in her own house,' he tells the Daily Mirror.
'But she's so much in the public eye that she cannot safely live there alone.'
Lothian and Borders Police are investigating the incident.
The intruder is described as white, 15 to 16-years-old, 5ft 4in to 5ft 8in tall, with a slim build.
