Will Ferrell welcomes third child

Actor and wife name new son Axel

Will Ferrell starred in Anchorman

Will Ferrell has become a dad for the third time.

The actor's wife Viveca Paulin, 40, gave birth to a baby boy in LA on Saturday.

The couple, who announced the pregnancy in September, have named him Axel.

'All the Ferrells are well,' a rep confirms to People. 

Will, 42, and Viveca are already parents to Magnus, 5, and Mattias, 3.

They tied the knot in 2000.
