Robbie Williams will sing on Simon Cowell's charity single in aid of Haiti

A Robbie Williams track has been selected as the official song for this year's Sport Relief.

Morning Sun will be released on 8 March ahead of the charity event from 19 to 21 March.

‘Please join us in helping this very worthwhile cause,' says ex-Take That singer Robbie, 35.

'I am very happy to donate my time to help Sport Relief and I thank my co writers for doing the same.'

Rachel Stevens, McFly and Leona Lewis have recorded tracks for Sport Relief in the past.

All profits from the single will be donated to the charity.
