Actor said to have died in car crash

Johnny Depp has two children with his partner Vanessa Paradis

Johnny Depp was the subject of a sick online rumour at the weekend.

The Public Enemies star was reported to have passed away following a car crash in France.

But now a spokesman for Johnny, 46, has set the record straight.

‘He isn't dead,' Robin Baum tells E! Online. ‘He's fine.'

Taylor Lautner, Tom Hanks and Miley Cyrus have been the subject of similar hoaxes recently.
