Charlie Sheen hearing postponed over wife's tooth surgery
A court hearing to discuss a temporary restraining order barring Charlie Sheen and his wife from contacting each other has been postponed because she has had tooth surgery.
Brooke Mueller, who was treated for an oral infection on Tuesday, asked the judge to allow her to participate via phone as she has been ordered to rest.
But the motion was rejected and the hearing in Colorado will now take place on Friday.
Charlie, 44, was arrested in Aspen on suspicion of assault, menacing and criminal mischief on 25 December.
He denies allegations he threatened Brooke, 32, on Christmas Day.
A separate court appearance related to the charges is scheduled for 8 February.Lawyers for the couple, who have ten-month-old twins Bob and Max, have indicated they want to reconcile.
'Even though a court order has prohibited Charlie from being around Brooke, she wants her husband to see his kids as often as he likes,' Brooke's lawyer Yale Galanter tells People.
'And the kids have seen their father several times.'
