Little Britain star David Walliams gets engaged

Comedian proposes to supermodel in LA

Comedian David Walliams previously dated model Lauren Budd

David Walliams is to marry his girlfriend Lara Stone.

The Little Britain star proposed to the model, 25, with a vintage ring in LA last week.

'It's true, we're engaged and blissfully happy,' David, 38, tells The Sun.

'I wasn't planning to make a public announcement because I'm not a royal - yet.'

David and Lara, who began dating in May 2009, are currently celebrating their happy news in Brazil.
