Singer will feature in TV ads for anti-acne products

Katy Perry will be paid handsomely by Proactiv Solution

Katy Perry has become the new face of Proactiv Solution.

The I Kissed A Girl star will help promote the anti-acne products in a series of TV commercials that will launch worldwide later this month.

Avril Lavigne and US actress Jenna Fischer have also signed lucrative deals with the firm.

‘We are paying people consistently with what we have done in the past, which is millions of dollars,' company executive Ben Van de Bunt tells WWD.

Meanwhile, Katy, 25, has rubbished rumours she is pregnant with fiancé Russell Brand's baby.

‘[I'm on] my period,' she wrote on her Twitter. ‘THAT'S RIGHT I'M BLEEDING. Face. Better luck next month peepz.'
