It's official: Dannii Minogue is having a baby

X Factor judge expecting her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith

Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith's first child is due in July

Stunning X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has announced that she's pregnant with her first child. 

Gossip that Dannii, 38, and her toyboy boyfriend Kris Smith, 31, were expecting set fire after they were spotted at a Melbourne hospital last week.

But all previous reports were denied until 'delighted' Dannii received the results of her 12-week scan today. 

Dannii's spokesman Simon Jones says: 'Dannii and Kris are very excited and can't wait to start their family in 2010.

'Rumours and stories surfaced across the weekend about Dannii being pregnant and having already had her 12-week scan. These stories were incorrect.

'Dannii had her 12-week scan this week and was given the results today [Wednesday 13 January] with the all clear to make an announcement.'

The baby is due in July.
