Christine Bleakley's in love, but is Frank Lampard?

Friends fear he's rushing in too fast with the One Show host

Christine Bleakley introduced new man Frank Lampard to her parents in Belfast over the holidays.

The pair, who met at the Pride Of Britain Awards in October, went public for the first time.

The One Show presenter was snapped with Frank, 31, during a Christmas break at her Northern Ireland home. The Chelsea footballer met Christine's mum and dad Frederick and Mina, who still live in the area where she grew up in County Down.

It completes a rapid rise to fame for Christine, 30, who's seen her status rocket since she broke up with businessman fiancé Mark Beirne last year.

She now enjoys nights out with high-profile pal Amanda Holden and glamorous holidays with her co-stars from her Strictly days.

But there's concern from Frank's friends, who worry that he's just another box ticked on her ambitious climb to the top - especially as relations with his ex Elen Rives have finally started to thaw.

A source tells Now: 'Christine wants to be accepted by his family and friends, but that's a huge step considering he's only just on speaking terms with Elen. They spent Christmas Day together for the sake of their two daughters and she'd never let Christine play happy families with her kids.

‘Christine and Elen are very similar, strong women, which poses a challenge for Frank. He's just going with the flow at the moment, but the two are bound to clash at some point.'
