Ainsley Harriott has cooked for George Clooney and Matt Damon

Ready Steady Cook chef Ainsley Harriott is surprised some fans think he's homosexual.

'People are often suprised that I'm not gay,' admits Ainsley.

'They think I'm camp as I'm happy, but I'm married with kids. I love women.'

Ainsley, 52, is dad to Jimmy, 19, and Maddie, 16, with wife Clare and says he's the romantic one in his marriage.

'I love buying flowers,' he tells Saturday magazine, 'and putting candles round the bath.'
