Ali Bastian: Brian Fortuna and I haven't had a day apart since we met

Strictly Come Dancing pair enjoy each other's company

Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna are smitten.

Romance blossomed between the couple during their stint on Strictly Come Dancing and they admit it didn't take long for them to realise there was a spark.

‘We've not had a day apart since we met,' Ali says. ‘From early on, you know when you have a strong connection with someone - I felt that very strongly.

‘I think there's something magical about dancing together that's so romantic.'

Ali, 26, says she and Brian, 27, struck up a close friendship from the very beginning and would often find time for each other outside of rehearsals..

‘Really early on it was one of the last days of summer and we did a bunk and drove down to Brighton,' reveals.

‘I wanted to show Brian the English seaside. We've found some moments to have real fun.'
