Cheryl Cole has become a style icon

Cheryl Cole has been snapped drenched with water for a new shoot.

The X Factor judge posed for a photo feature based on 2005 film Sin City in the latest issue of Q magazine.

In the pictures, Cheryl, 26, goes for the rock chick look in a spiky top and slashed leather jeans as she dances in the rain on a rooftop.

In another image, the Girls Aloud star is seen wearing a skin-tight leather outfit and sporting a chain-mail costume.

‘It's really exciting,' Cheryl tells Q.

‘When I looked at the brief I thought I've never done anything like this before so that's good for me.

‘I take a lot of pictures so to do someone I've never done before makes it exciting.'
