Beyonce Knowles feels the Heat

New perfume will be available to buy from February

Beyoncé Knowles has been the face of Tommy Hilfiger's True Star and Giorgio Armani's Emporio Diamonds fragrances

Beyoncé Knowles is launching her first fragrance.

The singer, 28, has worked with perfume house Coty on the scent called Heat.

‘Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials - that's me,' says Beyoncé. ‘When I commit to something, I do it 100 per cent.'

Heat - which will be available from February - has notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach and Beyoncé is delighted with the result.

‘I'm so happy with it,' she tells WWD. ‘I've been working on it for a while now.

‘I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I've never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing!'

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Beyoncé's mum Tina filed for divorce from her dad Mathew on 11 November in Harris County, Texas.

‘The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one,' reads a statement to The Associated Press.

‘We remain friends, parents and business partners... We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.'

The filing was made one month after Alexsandra Wright alleged Mathew is the father of her unborn child in a paternity lawsuit.
